Withstand the might of the sun itself!

The Details

What it Does:

This lightweight protective moisturizer provides anti-aging benefits and broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection in a sheer, easy-to-wear formula. Designed for daily use, it blends seamlessly and leaves an imperceptible finish.

This mineral-enhanced lotion also contains fruit stem cells, green tea and kola nut extract to help defend the skin against environmental damage. Skin receives just the right amount of moisture and nourishment to look soft and healthy, every day. Plus, the fresh, crisp scent is ideal for men.

Why it’s Different:

Daily UVA/UVB Protection

This SPF 25 sunscreen delivers daily broad-spectrum protection against the sun’s damaging rays. It protects against UVB rays, which cause sunburn, and UVA rays, which lead to skin damage and signs of aging. Its sheer, non-greasy texture makes it ideal for everyday use.

Rare Plant Stem Cells

Stem cells derived from red grapes act as powerful defenders against the effects of photoaging, promoting vibrant, healthy looking skin.

Unrivaled Efficacy

This formula utilizes each ingredient in its most effective form, selected specifically for its ability to deliver real results.

How it Works:

This elegant, sheer formula uses a combination of physical and chemical filters to protect skin from the sun. It includes octinoxate, a UVB filter, and zinc oxide, a physical UV filter. While octinoxate absorbs UV rays, zinc oxide forms a barrier on the skin that reflects UV rays. Zinc oxide is suitable for sensitive, combination and breakout-prone skin, and is also known to have soothing properties. This multi-tasking formula also contains antioxidant botanicals and red grape stem cells that provide powerful defense against everyday aggressors that age and damage the skin.

Key Benefits:

  • Provides broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection
  • Helps to defend skin against the effects ofphoto-aging and environmental damage
  • Nourishes the skin with plant stem cells and antioxidants
  • Weightless texture blends seamlessly for a sheer finish
  • Ideal for both men and women, alone or under makeup

The Story

Year-round Sunblock & Moisturizer

One of my first product discoveries put me on the path to being a man of fine goods. It was something I was introduced to during my time with the United States Cavalry. I was nary 20 years of age, a time when a young fellow craves to test his mettle against the elements and other men!

Our troop of horsemen had been dispatched to apprehend a villainous lot, thieves and murderers all! Their treachery in the Arizona territory was infamous, and General Oliver J. Higgleton commanded me and 10 other proud soldiers to track down the lawbreakers. These miscreants were said to be former Confederate soldiers and slavers, now reduced to vile criminality. They preyed upon the settlers and Mexicans alike, and were known in the region as “El Banditos”, a moniker roughly translated from the Spanish language as “The Bandits”.

We were hot on their trail. They had left a mining town in ruins, pillaging and looting with no regard for the sanctity of life. Given the hoofprints left behind from their misdeeds, we surmised their numbers were as many as 20 scoundrels. Outnumbering us numerically did not dissuade us, for they were lesser men in character!

Accompanying our posse were 3 Indians, brave warriors from the Fukyuwyti Tribe. Their people had lived in these parts for time immemorial. El Banditos had stolen horses from the tribe, and if there is one thing that unites Cavalry and Indian, it is the pursuit of a horse thief.

El Banditos ran far into the desert, hoping we would abandon the pursuit. General Higgleton cautioned against such an endeavor, as our Indian friends warned us that water wouldn’t be found where our quarry fled. But I, Chet Manly, merely a private in rank, was a Greek Hero in spirit!

Risking insubordination, I spoke up, nay, shouted: “Let us run them down! If the sun chooses to punish us by boiling the water in our blood, then it shall not be fickle, the rays of her fire will burn the bandits with the same unforgiving might!”

Despite my youth, my charisma and conviction were timeless! General Higgleton ordered us to journey forward! I carried a mercury thermometer, and it measured the hellish temperature at 114 degrees!

Before us, trapped in a box canyon, were El Banditos, prepared for their final gunfight!

“Wait!” one of the Indians warned. From a pouch made of dried buffalo testicle skin, he offered a cream to smear upon our faces!

Warpaint, we assumed. Well, if we were going to stampede to our deaths, let us don the local customs! Live or die as Fukyuwyti Warriors, we would!

“No”, the Indian Medicine Man corrected me. This cream had the mystical properties to stop the rays of the sun itself! Madness, we scoffed, but drunk on bloodlust, we argued not!

Bellowing a war cry from my gullet, I charged into the fray! Let it be known, that many a soldier fell that day, and two of our trusted Indian guides died bravely as well. But good triumphed, as it always has, and always will-- for El Banditos, to a man, were all brought down.

General Higgleton, gravely wounded, myself, and three others returned to civilization, and lo and behold--- The skin on our faces went untouched! Bizarrely, we would not be burnt by the sun, in fact, it was if moisture had been magically kept in our face, providing a supple strength despite our grim circumstance.

Gifted upon me for my bravery was the Medicine Man’s recipe, and I share it with the world, so that all may be so brave as our Native fellows.
